Overview

The UDAS is a unique device designed to improve the router signal in a closed environment. The antenna is installed between an indoor router unit and an outdoor antenna. The purpose of the antenna is to transmit a small part of the transmitted or received signal to the area where the device is installed. This allows indoor users to receive an improved signal, while most of the power is radiated from the outdoor antenna.

The device operates in the broadband range of 617 – 6000 MHz and thus covers the popular 5G/LTE bands as well as the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for Wi-Fi applications. The UDAS has an omnidirectional dispersion pattern, which ensures that the entire room or enclosed space is covered. The UDAS also offers 2×2 MIMO, where the antenna elements are cross-polarized within the housing, as this increases diversity and delivers improved performance. The UDAS housing is made of ABS with UV stabilizer, a highly impact-resistant plastic that is also resistant to acids and other chemicals.
