The RUCKUS R650 Wi-Fi 6 access point sets new standards in terms of capacity, coverage and performance. With six spatial streams, dual-band functionality and integrated IoT frequencies, it enables first-class wireless communication in dense environments. Patented technologies such as BeamFlex+, ChannelFly and Ultra-High-Density Technology Suite ensure impressive Wi-Fi performance. The R650 is the optimal choice for companies that require a unified platform for Wi-Fi and non-Wi-Fi technologies.

Wi-Fi capacity requirements in office buildings, classrooms and retail spaces are constantly increasing due to the growth of Wi-Fi-connected devices, IoT devices without Wi-Fi and bandwidth-intensive applications.

The RUCKUS® R650 access point (AP) with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology (802.11ax) increases capacity, coverage and performance in dense environments. The R650 is our mid-range dual-band and dual-radio access point with the largest capacity, supporting six spatial streams (4×4:4 in the 5 GHz band, 2×2:2 in the 2.4 GHz band). The R650 supports peak data rates of up to 2,974 Mbps and efficiently manages up to 512 client connections. In addition, the 2.5 GBit Ethernet ensures that the backhaul is not a bottleneck for the full utilization of the available Wi-Fi capacity.

Enterprise wireless requirements are growing beyond Wi-Fi with BLE, Zigbee and many other non-Wi-Fi wireless technologies, creating network silos. Companies therefore need a standardized platform to avoid network silos. The Ruckus AP portfolio is equipped to meet these challenges.

The R650 has built-in IoT frequencies with integrated BLE and Zigbee functions. In addition, the R650 is a convergent access point that enables customers to seamlessly integrate all new wireless technologies via the pluggable IoT module.

In addition to Wi-Fi 6 functions such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO and TWT, the R650 offers numerous patented Ruckus technologies. It is ideal for medium-density areas such as office buildings, classrooms in educational institutions, libraries and retail spaces.

Traditional omnidirectional antennas, such as those found in commercially available access points, oversaturate the environment by unnecessarily emitting RF signals in all directions. The Ruckus adaptive antenna, on the other hand, routes radio signals per device on a packet basis to optimize Wi-Fi coverage and capacity in real time and support high-density device environments. can be operated without the need for device feedback, from which even devices that use outdated standards can benefit.
