ASCEND equips Ingolstadt State Garden Show with WLAN access points
Peplink multi-WAN routers and WLAN access points from ASCEND ensure access to a high-performance fiber-optic network and reliable Internet connection for exhibitors and visitors in a huge landscaped park.
Ingolstadt State Garden Show postponed by one year
Postponed is not canceled and this year everything is green and blooming almost more beautifully than usual. The Ingolstadt State Garden Show, which has been postponed by one year due to the coronavirus, has been taking place since April 21, 2021 and visitors have time to enjoy plants, markets, exhibitions and more until October 3, 2021 (depending on the incidence). A high-performance internet connection is essential for smooth processes and information. In spring 2020, ASCEND equipped the area of the State Garden Show with WLAN access points to ensure exhibitors and visitors have access to COM IN’s high-performance fiber optic network(https://comin-glasfaser.de/).
A highlight event for ASCEND
“_After many hurdles, the Ingolstadt State Garden Show is one of the highlights of the year for many and also for us, and we are not only happy that it was able to open, but also that the internet connection has been very well received by guests and exhibitors_,” explains Johannes Fickeis, Managing Director of ASCEND GmbH.

Only the best components in use
The Internet connection on the spacious site with 23 hectares of landscaped park is provided by a Peplink Balance 710 Multi-WAN Router and distributed with six WLAN access points. The special feature in this case is the direct connection of the fiber optic network to the router and the distribution to the wireless access points also via fiber optics. “Disruptions and outages are thus reduced to an absolute minimum.”
