ASCEND tests Starlink from SpaceX
High-speed, low-latency broadband Internet via satellite. That’s really fun! Starlink is a project of Elon Musk’s SpaceX company and is now offering the first beta service both domestically and internationally and aims to implement near-global coverage of the populous world soon.
This solution is ideal for areas around the world where connectivity is usually a challenge. Starlink is not tied to traditional ground infrastructure and can provide high-speed broadband internet in places where access is unreliable or unavailable.
During the beta phase, users can expect data speeds of between 50 Mbit/s and 150 Mbit/s via satellite and a latency of between 20 ms and 40 ms. Our test was not only successful but also offers many great options with our bundling options to ensure really good fail-safe Internet for stable site networks.
