The HD2 MBX shares almost all specifications with the HD4 MBX. However, there are a few striking differences. The HD2 can bundle the bandwidth of up to 2 mobile connections into one indestructible, fast SD-WAN connection (HD4: up to four connections). This means that comprehensive network availability is no problem. For an even better connection, we recommend the Peplink Max HD4 MBX.
Intelligent failover automatically switches between different SIM cards, DSL, public wireless and other broadband options depending on what is available. This is particularly useful if mobile phone providers have limited coverage areas or if you are frequently on the move. The router also offers SpeedFusion bandwidth bundling by combining several available connections into a single strong connection. Manage these connections or add new connections from any internet-enabled device with the cloud-based InControl2 management system.
The HD2 MBX is designed for industrial use. With its fanless design, it can even be operated in dusty environments. The router has up to 8x 802.3at PoE outputs to supply your IP telephones, cameras and access points with power.
The HD2 MBX is ideal for mobile use. Ignition Sensing allows the router to switch on and off automatically depending on whether the vehicle has been started. When the vehicle is switched off, the MBX can also be shut down after a user-defined period of time to conserve battery power.
The HD2 MBX also supports Gigabit LTE. Future-proof, the MBX has an exchangeable mobile radio module. So if you upgrade to 5G, you can simply replace the previous module with the new one.
