EU Privacy Shield ist gekippt
ASCEND services continue to run without restrictions
On 16.07.2020, the European Court of Justice invalidated the EU Privacy Shield agreement. This makes it difficult to use the cloud services that many German providers and users have come to rely on. Although we are monitoring this matter closely, we are relaxed about it. From the very beginning, we have run all essential services on our own hardware and in a German data center. These services include Wi-Fi controllers, VPN hubs and other central management services. We have never relied on the easy "quick & cheap" cloud solutions, because security always has the highest priority. We are proud that our services continue to run unrestricted and securely even in these uncertain times.
