Smaller sites can place great demands on their wireless infrastructure. Whether in a small office or a public hotspot, users often access the same applications and content they use elsewhere and expect strong connections. This often requires high bandwidths. How can you make these available at low cost?
The RUCKUS® R350 access point provides consistent, reliable Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless networking at an affordable price. The 350 features the patented RUCKUS technologies found in every RUCKUS access point. These optimize performance, reduce interference and provide an excellent user experience with long ranges. The ultra-compact form factor is ideally designed for small sites – and at a reasonable price.
Enterprise wireless requirements go beyond standard Wi-Fi with BLE, Zigbee and many other non-Wi-Fi technologies. This can lead to the creation of network silos. Companies need a standardized platform to meet this challenge. The RUCKUS R350 is this solution, as it is equipped with a USB port and supports an optional, pluggable BLE and Zigbee IoT module.
The R350 is an ideal choice for low-density enterprise and hotspot environments including small and medium-size businesses, retail location, restaurants, and multi-tenant small office and branch office.
The R350 is the ideal choice for corporate and hotspot environments with low population density. This includes small and medium-sized companies, retail locations, restaurants, small offices and branch offices.
The R350 Wi-Fi 6 AP features patented technologies that are exclusive to the RUCKUS Wi-Fi portfolio.
- Extended coverage with BeamFlex, which uses multidirectional antenna patterns.
-
Improved throughput with ChannelFly®, which automatically selects less congested WLAN channels.
The R350 offers the ideal combination of functions and performance for smaller areas. It also supports up to 256 clients and 16 SSIDs per access point.
Whether you deploy 10 or 10,000 access points, the R350 has the options to be easily managed by the RUCKUS appliance, virtually, without a controller and via the cloud.

Antenna pattern of the access point
RUCKUS’ BeamFlex adaptive antennas allow the R350 AP to dynamically choose among a host of antenna patterns (up to 64 possible combinations) to establish the best possible connectivity with every device.
The adaptive BeamFlex antennas from RUCKUS allow the R350 access point to dynamically choose between a variety of antenna patterns (up to 64 possible combinations). This ensures the best possible connection with every device. This leads to:
- Improved Wi-Fi coverage
- Reduced high-frequency interference
Conventional omnidirectional antennas, such as those found in conventional access points, oversaturate the environment by unnecessarily radiating RF signals in all directions. In contrast, the adaptive BeamFlex antenna from RUCKUS directs the radio signals in packets and per device. This is designed to optimize Wi-Fi coverage and capacity in real time and support high-density device environments. BeamFlex works without device feedback and can therefore also be used for devices with older standards.
Note: The outer curve represents the merged RF footprint of all possible BeamFlex antenna patterns, while the inner curve represents a BeamFlex antenna pattern within the merged outer curve.
