Internet immer und überall aus dem Koffer – ASCEND entwickelt mit NetByrd einen mobilen WebCase

Education, industry, financial systems — and above all the systemically relevant infrastructures such as water and energy supply or emergency services — everyday life in all areas today depends on the internet. If even parts of it fail, the consequences can be severe. For this scenario, ASCEND has developed the NetByrd WebCase, a transportable internet case that is ready for action within five minutes and delivers internet instantly anywhere, anytime — for up to 60 devices.

“Fail-safe internet has never been this easy”
"Our WebInTheBox solution is suitable for emergencies or for use in areas that lack the appropriate infrastructure," explains Johannes Fickeis, Managing Director of ASCEND GmbH, describing the development.
Via LTE, the portable Wi-Fi box establishes a fail-safe internet connection — at the push of a single button. Optionally, it can be coupled to a satellite system via the WAN port. The battery-powered SD-WAN router case can be managed centrally via a web interface; GPS fleet management enables the case to be tracked.
