The integrated 4G Global LTE modems support a total of 19 different LTE bands. This covers all important LTE frequency bands used worldwide, making the device the ideal solution for international and cross-border use.
While LTE Cat. 4 offers lower peak speeds than the newer LTE Advanced standard, as used in the sister models 520/521/522, these peak speeds are hardly relevant in reality – with LTE Cat. 4, you still get four times 150 Mbit/s downstream and 50 Mbit/s upstream with the Multichannel VPN Router 523.
The integrated GPS function makes it possible to locate the router at any time via the administration tool. This geotracking is very useful for efficient fleet management.
SIM cards from different mobile network providers can be used in four card holders, even across national borders, to supply coaches, trains, ships, commercial and construction site vehicles, cars with professional multimedia equipment and much more. The
integrated W-LAN access point with 2.4 or 5 GHz (dual band) makes the available bandwidth available to any user.
Other areas of application include the connection of event locations, video transmission via a backpack-style transmission station as a replacement for a broadcast van or the highly available and encrypted connection of emergency vehicles with sovereign tasks. This router also makes it easy to provide fast and fail-safe data connections outside the coverage area of wired Internet access.
The Multichannel VPN Router 523 is characterized by its robust and energy-saving design. As a ready-to-use solution, it is supplied with 7 antennas (4x LTE Dual-MiMo, 2x W-LAN and 1x GPS).
This Viprinet router requires a Viprinet Lifetime Maintenance (VLM) subscription to have access to Viprinet support and firmware and software updates.
