The 4G Europe LTE 450 Module enables the support of all current mobile radio technologies for modular Viprinet Multichannel VPN Routers. The LTE mobile communications standard is now available in many countries around the world, where it provides higher bandwidths with greater range and represents the current state of mobile communications technology, which is why it offers long-term future security.

With the 4G Europe LTE 450 module, the newly emerging 450 MHz LTE mobile networks can be used, a frequency range that was previously used for CDMA networks. Due to the nature of the 450 MHz frequency range, these mobile networks allow particularly wide-ranging reception even in structurally weak areas. The module also utilizes the bandwidths of classic mobile standards: In areas without sufficient LTE reception, there is an automatic fallback to UMTS. The module can be connected to any external antenna via its SMA connector to increase the available bandwidth even when network coverage is insufficient.

Please note: LTE uses different radio frequency bands depending on the country. This module supports the mobile network frequencies 450/800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz, which are common in Europe and other regions, but not the 700 MHz band used in the USA. When choosing an external antenna, make sure that it supports the available LTE and UMTS frequency bands.
