Multichannel VPN Router 200

The Multichannel VPN Router 310 is our hybrid router specially designed for use at home offices and when traveling. It allows an existing Internet connection to be bundled with a second one – this hybrid technology makes it possible to increase the available bandwidth and reliability cost-effectively by combining a fixed line such as DSL or cable with a mobile connection such as LTE or UMTS.

The picture shows the Ascend Multichannel VPN Router 200, a device for bundling Internet connections and setting up VPN connections. The router is housed in a black casing and placed on a white background. The device has several connections for Ethernet cables and SIM cards and can therefore use several Internet connections simultaneously. The Multichannel VPN Router is particularly useful for companies that require a fast and reliable Internet connection, e.g. for video conferences, cloud applications or other data-intensive applications. The device can also be used as a VPN gateway to establish a secure connection between different locations. The router is easy to configure and offers extensive functions for managing network connections and VPNs.

Free, unused upload capacities in mobile networks serve here as an “upstream booster” for DSL: A slow DSL connection with 3 Mbit/s downstream and 300 Kbit/s upstream is thus transformed into symmetrical access, with several megabits also available in the upstream, as required for video conferences, for example.

The integrated WLAN access point with 2.4 or 5 GHz (dual band) provides all available end devices (PCs, smartphones and tablets) with sufficient bandwidth. The hybrid router is passively cooled, extremely energy-efficient, completely noiseless and, thanks to the module slot, also ideally equipped for future technical developments.
